Vehicle Information

With a vehicle selected, you can manage its details, such as make, model, body details, and more.

Basic Tab

This is where you can fill out or view the general information about the selected vehicle.

Vehicle Information Section

Information regarding the vehicle’s VIN, year, make and model are stored in the Vehicle Information section. If you have an attachment associated with the vehicle, it will be displayed here.

Color Section

Add information about the exterior and interior colors of the vehicle.

Details Section

The Details section is where you can keep track of the Tracking number, mileage, location, status, As Is price and body style. 

The Status of a vehicle can be any of the following.

  • A – Available

  • C – Crushed

  • D – Deleted

  • H – On Hold

  • S – Sold

Miscellaneous Section

Use the Miscellaneous section to keep track of the purchase, teardown and dismantler information.

Description Section

The Description section is where you can view or add any extra information that was not covered in the above sections. The information in this field is public, and will print out on invoices and display with this part’s HeavyTruckParts.net listing.

History Report Tab

Use the Report tab to generate a Vehicle History Report for $1. Must have a VinAudit Account to use.

Attachments Tab

The Attachments tab is where you will go to manage and view any files that have been added to the selected vehicle.

  • Clicking Add Video allows you enter your Youtube account name and search and select from all videos from that account

  • Click the arrow icon next to Add Video to add a YouTube video using a URL

Q and A Tab

Use the Q and A tab to record commonly asked questions and the customer’s answers for future use. 

  • Add a new question by clicking or tapping on the “New Question” button.

Info Tab

The Info tab is where you can record additional information about the vehicle that is not covered in the Basic tab.

  • Use the Misc section to fill out the Claim, File and Junking Numbers along with the Pickup Location.

  • The Insurance and Title Information section is where you can record information regarding insurance and the vehicle title.

  • The Seller section is for information regarding the seller of the vehicle.

Costs Tab

Use the cost tab to record all the costs from purchasing the vehicle. 

  • To add a new cost, click or tap on the “New Cost” button.

    • This will open the New Cost window where you will be able to enter in a vendor, the Type of Cost, the amount and amount Paid, the date of the purchase and more.

Performance Tab

The Performance Tab allows you to see the status of the parts from a specific vehicle. This page displays how much revenue you have made from the vehicle, if you’ve broken even, need to break even or have already made a profit.

Teardown & Bids Tab

The Teardown & Bids tab allows you to add parts from your vehicle to your inventory.
