There are two ways to begin creating a new part
-
In the sidebar menu, click on the Plus icon next to the Part label

On the Part page, click the New Part button

Select a Part Type and Store
-
To speed up the process, you can also choose between your top most used Part Types when creating parts

Click Create Part to add part to database
